The PNG TIA acknowledges Kokoda Trail as a major tourism drawcard for PNG. Local custodians and national agencies play an important role in our aspirations to promote investment and business connections in the Kokoda Trail tourism space thus PNG TIA would like to develop relationships with relevant stakeholders and looks forward to more collaboration in the future.
This year, PNG TIA in partnership with our partners is delighted to announce the hosting of the Kokoda Trail Tourism Forum under the theme “It’s time for Change”. The forum will be a day of discussions on the status of the Kokoda Trail and the way forward. This is an opportunity for dialogue with all relevant stakeholders, to raise awareness of new developments and prepare the way forward in rebuilding the industry under the ‘niuplela pasin’ protocols after the devastating impact of COVID-19.
